Melissa Batie Named Head Women's Volleyball Coach

Melissa BatieNova Southeastern University Director of Athletics Michael Mominey recently announced the hiring of Melissa Batie as Head Women's Volleyball Coach.

Batie comes to NSU after serving as an assistant coach at Wake Forest University since January, 2003. A native of Miami, Batie brings a wealth of coaching experience to the NSU women's volleyball program, having coached for over a decade on a variety of levels.

"We are very excited to have Melissa lead the NSU women's volleyball program as her experience at the NCAA Division I level and at the elite club level certainly elevates our program instantly," said Mominey. "Melissa's recruiting experience is second to none. She will work to bring the best student-athletes into our program and take NSU women's volleyball to a new level. Our goal together is to make NSU volleyball competitive nationally over the next few years."
