Huizenga School Forges International Education Opportunities

The H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship is building relationship bridges from Fort Lauderdale to South America.

After surpassing a rigid selection process and meeting an esteemed evaluation criterion, the Huizenga School has been invited to join 380 other top MBA schools from around the world, for the second consecutive year, on the Latin American swing of the World MBA Tour.

In preparation to attend this year's Tour, the Huizenga School has made significant efforts to develop international relationships, which are hoped to initiate the fortification process of distance education programs with South American universities. Student ambassadors of the Huizenga School have worked with South American university deans and professors to distribute literature and give formal information presentations at renowned universities in Peru , Mexico and Argentina. These efforts will help create a two-fold presence for the Huizenga School in South America.

The Tour kicks off on August 29 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and ends on September 11. Other stops on the Tour include Buenos Aires, Argentina; Santiago, Chile; Lima, Peru; Caracas, Venezuela; and Mexico City, Mexico.

Last year's Tour attracted over 40,000 visitors interested in pursuing their MBA's abroad. Fairs featuring mainly U.S. and European schools are held in local hotels. The World MBA Tour is the leading MBA Fair organizer and the benchmark for international business school marketing.
