| NSU’s Mailman Segal Institute of Early Childhood Studies was one of five Broward County organizations to complete their Kresge Foundation Challenge campaign one year early. The challenge is part of an endowment-building campaign the Kresge Foundation has undertaken nationally. Housed at the Community Foundation of Broward and established by a lead gift from Jim & Jan Moran, the endowment will enable the Mailman Segal Institute to continue to take its parenting and professional training programs into communities where they are most needed. The institute’s goal was $1 million, and was matched by a $333,000 grant from the Kresge Foundation. |
