38TH ANNUAL SNOWFLAKE BALL RAISES NEARLY $100,000

The 38th Annual Snowflake Ball, considered one of South Florida’s premiere social events, was a resounding success, raising nearly $100,000 when it was held on Nov. 8 at the Westin Diplomat Resort and Spa in Hollywood. The money raised will benefit the Mailman Segal Institute’s Baudhuin Preschool, a specialized program for children with autism spectrum disorder.

The Snowflake Ball also honored Bernie and Babette Kosar with the Champion for Children Award. The Kosars have dedicated their time to making important contributions in the lives of children within our community.

The 2004 Snowflake Ball is scheduled for November 12th, at the Diplomat Country Club. For more information, contact NSU’s Debra Gonzalez at (954) 262-6929, or at tilkin@nova.edu.
