Eligible Users:
The following are eligible users and may freely use all resources as enrolled students or faculty/staff at the Health Professions Division (HPD) or Nova Southeastern University (NSU):
  • Currently enrolled students at the Health Professions Division or Nova Southeastern University;
  • HPD and NSU Faculty and Staff;
  • HPD and NSU Adjunct Faculty;

Members of the general public, SEFLIN card holders and alumni may use the library and its collection. However, no items may circulate out of the library to the general public, to SEFLIN card holders, or to alumni.

Required Identification:
All HPD Students, Staff, and Faculty are issued an NSU photo identification badge. This photo ID badge also functions as a library card. In order to borrow materials from the HPD Library or to use materials maintained in the Reserve section patrons must present their valid NSU ID. A Driver's License is not considered to be valid library identification.

NSU non-HPD students, wishing to borrow materials from the Library or use the Reserve section must present a valid NSU photo identification card.

Members of the general public must present a valid Driver's License for the use of materials in the Reserve section. HPD Library Staff reserve the right to refuse to circulate materials if questionable photo identification is presented. The HPD Library may also request a present address and telephone number when circulating materials from the Reserve section. HPD students always have priority for use of Reserve materials.
