The circulating books collection of HPD Library contains more than 21,000 volumes, each of which may be checked out for a two week period. To search for a particular title, author or subject, and for availability, check Novacat.

Renewal of library materials online is a simple process. You can renew a book twice online unless it is overdue or a hold has been placed on it. Renew items.

The collection is organized according to the National Library of Medicine classification scheme.

Only those library users who have an NSU photo ID are eligible to check items out of the library. Others may not check out circulating books but are welcome to use them within the library. For more detail, check the HPD Library Circulation Policies page.

Users should not re-shelve books but should place them on carts located throughout the library so that library staff can return them to the correct location.

HPD Library also provides access to more than 100 Electronic Books. Only members of the NSU community with current valid ID may access these books.
