Galaxy (Osteopathic Medicine)

A virtually endless supply of medical-related WWW links. The osteopathic site on Galaxy includes links to Academic Organizations, professional organizations and comprehensive linked sites. To access general medical sites, Galaxy's Medicine page includes subject areas such as medical informatics, therapeutics and diseases and disorders. Galaxy contains a searchable index to assist in locating indexed Web sites. From the Home Page non-medical subject areas such as Law, Humanities and Reference can be accessed.
Based at Michigan State University, the site contains major Osteopathic academic and association links. From the alphabetical list of all HealthWeb Subjects, additional medical areas can be accessed.
 
 
International Health Electives for Medical Students has been a popular AMSA publication since the first edition was published in 1984. Since then, it has been revised and updated many times, at first in conjunction with St. Louis University, and then in recent years by AMSA alone. This 7th edition, is a complete revision and is available online for the first time.
