Ft. Myers Entry Level Nursing Program
Congratulations and Welcome to the NSU Ft. Myers Entry Level Nursing Program!!
Please review this website and make a note of all of the documentation and information that you will need to bring to the Nursing Department Orientation at the Fort Myers SEC, where it will be collected. Orientation is mandatory and will be held on Tuesday, September 1st at 9:00 A.M at the Fort Myers Student Education Center (SEC) – see Fort Myers Orientation link for details. It is during this orientation time that you will learn all about your courses, class schedule and the NSU campus. Please note that class will begin immediately after the 2nd orientation session continued on Wednesday, September 2nd at 9:00 A.M.
You can expect to be busy in school on Mondays-Fridays during the day for the next 27 months! You will note that with your acceptance letter you received information on how to obtain an NSU username and password. If you need further assistance please contact the help desk at (954) 262-4357 or (800) 541-6682 x2HELP. Webmail is your NSU email and you can expect to receive correspondence from financial aid, admissions and your advisor. WebStar will allow you to view your class schedule, account balance and financial aid disbursements. WebCT will allow you to view your courses.
For your first semester, the Nursing Support Coordinator will register you for your courses. We can register you, if you have returned the Intent to Enroll form and $1000 non-refundable acceptance and deposit fees to the Office of Admissions in Fort Lauderdale. Once these are received, we will be able to register you for your courses. You will be registered for approximately 3-4 courses a term. Again, congratulations and welcome to the NSU Nursing family.
