Life-Saving Research
An estimated 1.3 million men and
women are diagnosed with cancer each year. The American Cancer Institute
estimates that of that number, 570,280 Americans are expected to die
of cancer before the year ends. A team of Nova Southeastern University
researchers is hoping to reduce those odds significantly. They are
working to create a new generation of cancer drugs that will stop certain
types of tumors from growing and spreading.
