Transient Enrollment/Consortium Agreement
Transient students are students who elect to attend another school, otherwise known as the Host School, for a term while officially admitted to NSU. Financial aid awarded through the Nova Southeastern University (NSU) Office of Student Financial Assistance will be adjusted, if necessary, and disbursed to the student’s NSU account once all requirements have been met. Students may have to pay for their classes up front as some schools require payment at the time of registration. A Consortium Agreement Form must be completed by both the Host School and NSU.
Students must follow the procedures as stated below prior to receiving financial aid funds for taking courses at the Host School. Students must:
- A Consortium Agreement must be completed by the student’s
NSU program advisor stating that the courses he/she is taking
courses at the Host School are transferable to their degree program
at NSU (Section II).
- The student must be fully accepted in a degree-seeking program
at NSU, and making satisfactory academic progress as specified
by the NSU Satisfactory Progress policy.
- The Consortium Agreement must be completed by the Host School
Registrar’s Office (Section III).
- The Host School Financial Aid Office must complete the section
relating to the student’s budget during attendance at the
Host School (Section IV).
- The Consortium Agreement must be submitted to the NSU Office
of Student Financial Assistance for final approval.
- At the end of the term, a grade transcript from the Host School
must be submitted to NSU, whether or not the student plans
to attend NSU the following semester.
- Any funds for which the student is ineligible must be repaid
if the student withdraws.
- The student cannot receive financial aid from the Host School.
