Privacy Act (FERPA)

Nova Southeastern University ensures the confidentiality of student records in accordance with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974, known as the Buckley Amendment. Your family financial information and the type and amount of your aid will be held in confidence. In order to release information to other individuals, such as your spouse, parent or significant other, you must provide a written consent. You may complete the NSU Authorization Form and return it to the Office of Student Financial Services and Registration.
