Declined Payment Policy

In the event a payment is declined, NSU will charge a declined payment fee of $25 to the student’s account. This policy applies to all payments made by check or credit card. Please note:
As real time credit card payments made in WebSTAR or via NSU eBill will not process unless authorized, students will not be charged any declined payment fee when choosing this payment option. This does not apply to automatic payments or deferred payments set up through NSU eBill.

Returned Check Policy

The Bursar’s Office reserves the right to refuse any personal checks from students, whose previous check payments have been declined more than once. These students will be required to submit payment by money order, credit card, or certified check.
