M.S. in School Counseling
The Master's Degree Program in School Counseling has been recognized by the Florida Department of Education as a state-approved program. Based on a developmental model, the master’s program prepares students to function as professional school counselors in school systems (pre-kindergarten through grade 12). While the role of the school counselor varies within and across schools, districts, and states, counselors increasingly serve in multiple roles, interacting and consulting with parents, teachers, school psychologists, and agencies to provide effective services to students.
