Network Connectivity Management
All requests for NSU networking services must be directed to the Office of Innovation and Information Technology (OIIT) for evaluation, approval, design and implementation. Networking services encompasses all forms of electronic data flow within the University local-area network (LAN), within the University wide-area network (WAN), and between the University WAN and all external networks (e.g. the Internet).
Requests must be submitted for any type of change to existing services. These changes include, but are not limited to adding new data lines, connecting or disconnecting equipment to the network, changes in network security, and changes to network protocol services.
