Mass Email Information Provider Agreement
Schools, centers, or departments wishing to send mass email communications to employees and/or students must designate a person as an official mass email information provider. The provider must agree to accept the responsibilities outlined in the agreement below, complete the form and submit a paper copy via interoffice mail addressed to the Web Team in the Office of Information Technologies. The agreement must be signed by the Dean in order to be accepted and processed.
As a designated mass email information provider I hereby agree to the following:
- I understand that I am responsible for providing complete and accurate information for all mass email messages requested to be sent.
- I further understand that I am responsible for allowing sufficient lead time for the processing of all mass email requests.
- I may call upon the OIT Web Team for assistance in the preparation of mass email messages, including specification of custom recipient lists, HTML formatted messages, etc.
- I will respond to questions, suggestions, or problems presented by the OIT Web Team in a timely manner.
- On behalf of my department I will review all mass email message requests for accurate and appropriate content and will correct any problems prior to submitting a request to the OIT Web Team.
