CWIS Information Provider Agreement
Any interested University center, program, department, or officially recognized student organization may become an information provider. If you have information that you would like to make available through the Campus Wide Information System (CWIS), you will need the appropriate training in the areas of the World Wide Web and HyperText Markup Language (HTML) in addition to a completed Information Provider Agreement. Additional technical materials, training class schedules and guidelines for information providers are available through the Office of Innovation and Information Technology.
This agreement shall be signed by the Dean or Director of the center/program/department/ organization who wishes to become an information provider prior to any data being placed in the CWIS. For student organizations who wish to become information providers, this agreement will be signed by the Faculty Advisor and the Dean of Student Affairs or the Director of Student Engagement. It is understood that failure to comply with these guidelines may result in the removal of information from the CWIS. Content and maintenance of the information provided is the responsibility of the center/program/school/department/organization.
All data incorporated in the CWIS must meet NSU's policies outlined by the Office of Innovation and Information Technology and/or the World Wide Web Coordinating Committee (WCC). These may be found online at www.nova.edu/common-lib/policies.
Any links must be relevant Internet resources only and may not point to personal home pages or sources that are not pertinent to the interest of the center/program/department/organization.
Any data included in the CWIS will be clearly labeled with the following information:
- Name and Email address of the "data maintainer" (the person or persons in my center/program/department/organization who is/are assigned the task of maintaining the data)
- Description and/or origin of the data
- Last revision date and/or expiration date.
- Information placed in the CWIS will be seen nationally and internationally as well as the NSU Community.
Information provided will reflect on the center, program, school, department, or organization as well as Nova Southeastern University.
