Disability Accommodations

We encourage students needing disability accommodations to notify the Office of Student Disability Services either via email or by telephone at (954) 262-7185 at least two weeks in advance of the event. If the office is not contacted in a timely fashion, we cannot guarantee that the requested accommodations will be available. You can also join us on Facebook.

Candidate’s guests needing assistance should bring their own or rented wheelchairs or walkers since these, or other such devices, are not provided by the Don Taft University Center. All wheelchair accessible seating is located on the second floor of the arena. Only one guest may accompany those who require wheelchair assessable seating so as to secure enough seats for all of our guests with special needs. For more information, telephone (954) 262-5551 or visit the Website at www.nsuarena.com.

The Arena at the Don Taft University Center on the NSU main campus in Davie, Fla., provides handicap accessible parking spaces located on each level of the public parking garage, located approximately 200 yards east of the University Center at the NSU North Entrance on Southwest 30 Street and Ray Ferraro, Jr. Blvd. Additional disabled parking is located outside the arena’s East lobby entrance. Only vehicles legally using disabled license plates or window cards are permitted to park in these designated spaces.

Patrons using wheelchairs can enter and exit the building through either the North or East lobbies of the venue. There is an elevator located directly across from the box office for convenient access to the arena entrance. All wheelchair accessible seating is located on the second floor of the arena.
