Orientation
Dear Student:
Welcome to Nova Southeastern University's Orlando Physician Assistant Program and your first step toward a rewarding and challenging new career as a health care professional.
The Academic Year will begin on May 28, 2013 with an Orientation week. Classes start on June 3, 2013. There will be an Opening Ceremony on Friday, May 30 at 11:00 a.m. to welcome you to the PA program. Family members are welcome at the ceremony, which will be followed by a reception. There will not be a “White Coat" ceremony for your class until August 2014 just prior to you starting your clinical rotations. Additionally, you will not need to purchase a lab coat until that time.
We are looking forward to seeing you on May 28. The faculty and staff are committed to providing you with the finest education as well as the best learning opportunities possible. Our goal is to make your experience at Nova Southeastern the best available in the nation.
Again, congratulations on your selection, and we look forward to seeing you. If I can be of any assistance, please don't hesitate to contact me.
