Lorilee H. Butler, DHSc, MPAS, MEd, PA-C

Dr. Butler is the Chair of the Nova Southeastern University Physician Assistant department. Prior to her current position, she served as the program's Program Director and the program's Academic Director. She joined the faculty in July 2008 after retiring from the Air Force with 26 years of service.

She is a Physician Assistant with 16 years clinical experience in Family Medicine and Urgent Care. Her last military assignment was at the Interservice PA program at Fort Sam Houston, Texas where she served as the Clinical Director for 22 clinical sites across the nation. She was also the course director for the Patient Evaluation course and the Radiology course.

She is a past president of the Society of Air Force Physician Assistants, a distinguished fellow of AAPA, and a member of the Pi Alpha National Honor Society and Alpha Eta National Honor Society.
