About Us
Welcome to the Nova Southeastern University Physician Assistant Program - Fort Lauderdale Campus. The Physician Assistant Program is located within Health Professions Division located on the main campus of Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. Located on a 900,000 square foot campus, the university is located 15 minutes from the heart of Fort Lauderdale.
Our Physician Assistant Program has been continually accredited since 1994 and will undergo its next accreditation site visit in 2015. With over 1,200 graduates from our program; we are proud of our alumni who currently work in all areas of medicine, including active involvement in government and leadership positions.
Our program has 14 full time faculty members who actively teach in class and laboratory sessions. Class sizes range from 75-80 students per year, thereby maintaining a faculty student ratio of approximately 5:1. By utilizing the resources available through the College of Health Care Sciences, the program strives to achieve excellence and assist students in reaching their maximum potential.
