About Program
The Bachelor of Health Science - Cardiovascular Sonography program is designed to prepare the student for entry-level positions in the field of cardiovascular sonography. Students will take a series of on-line courses at the undergraduate level as well on-campus lectures integrated with ultrasound labs to prepare them for the twelve-month clinical externship during the second year.
The scope of the bachelor's program is to provide the student with basic and fundamental theory in the health care setting. Upon graduation, the student will later have an opportunity to move in to a more advanced education level in the Master's of Health Science Program.
