The Vascular Sonography program in Fort Lauderdale is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), 1361 Park Street, Clearwater, FL, 33756.
Graduates from the General and Vascular Program will be able to take the national registry examinations SPI (Sonography Principles and Examinations) and the VT (Vascular Technology) to obtain the RVT (Registered Vascular Technologists) credential.
The General track of the Sonography Program in Fort Lauderdale is currently seeking accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) Joint Review Commission on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (JRC-DMS), which can only be awarded after the first graduating class of students. Graduates will be however eligible to take the national registry examinations under the rules for new programs, as administered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) located at 51 Monroe Street, Plaza East One, Rockville, Maryland 20850.
- The Cardiovascular Sonography Program in Tampa is currently seeking accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) Joint Review Commission on Education in Cardio- Vascular Technology (JRC-CVT), which can only be awarded after the first graduating class of students. Graduates will be however eligible to take the national registry examinations under the rules for new programs, as administered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) located at 51 Monroe Street, Plaza East One, Rockville, Maryland 20850.
