The Office of Career Services provides career consulting and job search assistance to students and alumni using the “Career Track NSU Model”. The Career Track Model is a partnership between the student/alumnus and Career Services to help in reaching their chosen goals and career destination. In summary, the model:

• Encourages the student to develop a plan of action that will allow the student/alumnus to make successful career decisions.
  
  
• Requires that an ongoing relationship be maintained with a Career Consultant to customize all of the possible options available to achieve their goals.
  
  
• Supports students/alumnus by increasing contacts with employers, recruiters, graduate/professional schools and other resources.
  
  
• Provides ongoing and consistent follow-up to reassess, explore options and work towards a position of career success.
