Ashley joined the Office of Career Development in June 2017 as a full time Career Advisor. Ashley works with current undergraduate students, graduate students, and alumni to ensure the confidence and success of those that she meets with.
Ashley is a proud native of Brooklyn, NY: Home of the best pizza in the United States. She attended Stony Brook University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, with two minors: Health & Wellness, and Women & Gender Studies. Throughout her undergraduate career, Ashley was heavily involved on campus in many different leadership capacities, all with the goal of maximizing the potential of her peers. This spirit followed her through earning a Masters of Education degree in Student Affairs Administration and Higher Education at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Prior to joining the Office of Career Development, Ashley has held roles in Career Services, Orientation Services, and Health & Wellness Education. These experiences, along with a winding journey to find her own career path, inspires her daily in helping students discover the individual values that’ll set them up for success academically, socially, and professionally.
Outside the office, you can find Ashley enjoying the beach, crocheting, singing along to musicals, reading, and testing out new recipes.
