Immanuel joined the Office of Career Development in July 2016 as a Career Advisor. Originally a native of Greenville, SC, Immanuel spent time living in Savannah, GA where he attended Savannah State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Homeland Security and Emergency Management. Currently, Immanuel is enrolled in the Master of Science in Leadership program at the Abraham S. Fischler College of Education at NSU.

While attending Savannah State, he was involved in various leadership and advising roles including SGA, Model United Nations, and Tiger Ambassadors. Immanuel has a passion for education abroad, studying for a semester in Ghana at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and traveled abroad to four other countries while at Savannah State. He also enjoys engaging international students studying in the U.S. at NSU. Each experience ignited his passion for leadership, student engagement, and cross-cultural development.

Through his role as a Career Advisor, Immanuel looks forward to supporting students and alumni in discovering their passions and expanding their knowledge of career opportunities in their area of interest. He is deeply committed to the professional and social development of NSU students and alumni. Outside of NSU, Immanuel loves to travel, find new restaurants, engage with community organizations, and enjoys watching new Netflix series.
