Career Development calendar reflects all career events that are sponsored by Career Development happening at all NSU locations. These events include Student Employment Fair, Employer Information Sessions, Graduate School Fair, Career Fair, On-Campus Interviewing, and Career Workshops.

Alumni who have a conferred degree at Nova Southeastern University have access to services offered by Career Development. These services include help with resume development, interview preparation, job search assistance, applying to graduate/professional school and occupational exploration and transition. While services are provided to assist alumni in managing his/her job search efforts, they are not to be viewed as a placement service.
Alumni can schedule one-on-one appointments with a Career Service Professional for resume review, interview preparation, job search assistance, questions about applying to graduate/professional school, and occupational exploration and transition. Alumni who live more than 30 miles away, or are unable to visit Career Development, can schedule an Interactive Career Advisement Appointment. An Interactive Career Advising Appointments are available over the phone or through the use of Skype™.
Mock Interviews are simulated interviews, designed to develop or test the communication skills of the interviewee. We offer two mock interview services to help you prepare for professional interviews: face-to-face mock interview with staff member and/or a virtual mock interview via phone or Skype™. Traditional and behavioral interviewing questions will be presented. After the interview, you will receive constructive feedback. Alumni who conduct a face-to-face mock interview will also receive a flash drive with a digital recording of your mock interview.
Alumni are asked to submit their updated resume and a sample job description at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment. Alumni are asked to come to their mock interview appointment in professional dress.
