As a chartered club, AVACS is required to do a minimum of 10 volunteer hours. Volunteer opportunities available below. For volunteer hours to count, 2 members must be present and volunteer event must be approved by Jennifer Bowman from Civic Engangement if it isn't under the volunteer list given by student engagement. llllllllllCompleted 7 HoursllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllLeft: 3 Hours ________________________________________________ An organization that provides many volunteer opportunities. However, an registration to Volunteer Broward and a volunteer orientation is needed first and done only once before volunteering. Here are the steps Registering at their website through this link: After registering, they’ll send you an e-mail to activate your account via link. After activation go to this link to sign up for the orientation: You scroll down the page to sign up to the orientation that has the specific date and location that that you feel you could make it to, and they will send you the information of the complete location to where it is held. Moreover, after registration, you’ll have your own member page. Your interest and skills need to be filled out because certain volunteer opportunities require certain skills and interest. Also, be sure to add AVACS as you team. This is done by clicking on the “My Team” tab and then click on “Browse my teams” link to find AVACS. After orientation, keep your registration account. It is needed to log in to participate in the volunteer events that Volunteer Broward provides. Go to the link below to register.
