(’02), is the administrative director of Clinical Operations for Cleveland Clinic of Florida, where he is responsible for 85 full-time employees and manages a $26-million, annual, drug expense budget; seven Florida pharmacy permits; and surgical operations of 11 operating rooms suites and 3 outpatient surgical suites.

Dateline Health Selected as a Winner in the 35th Annual Telly Awards


FORT LAUDERDALE-DAVIE, Fla. – The Telly Awards has named Dateline Health as a People’s Telly Silver winner in the 35th Annual Telly Awards for its piece titled “Joint Preservation and Pain Management.” This is Dateline Health’s fourth Telly Award, having received two in 2008 and another in 2012. This year’s Telly Awards received nearly 12,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries.


NSU Researcher Appointed to National Institutes of Health’s New National Research Mentoring Network Review Panel


FORT LAUDERDALE-DAVIE, Fla. – Mariana Morris, Ph.D., professor and director of Gulf War research at the Nova Southeastern University (NSU) College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Institute for Neuro-Immune Medicine, was recently appointed to the review panel for the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) National Research Mentoring Network (NRMN).


SunTrust Foundation’s Latest Gift Supports NSU Scholarship Fund


FORT LAUDERDALE-DAVIE, Fla. – As part of their ongoing support of Nova Southeastern University (NSU), representatives from SunTrust and the SunTrust Foundation have donated $50,000 to fund an endowed scholarship in honor of the university’s 50th anniversary celebration, adding to the organization’s significant investment in education throughout the community and at NSU.


NSU’s Lifelong Learning Institute featured in Sun-Sentinel

NSU College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Lifelong Learning Institute off-campus program offers lectures at retirement communities throughout South Florida. The program reaches up to 350 senior students monthly and has become very popular among retirement homes. Classes are taught by professional or long-time educators and are focused on history, music, literature, social science and the arts.
