Alumni to be surveyed as part of a massive campaign to measure NSU effectiveness
For the first time in Nova Southeastern University’s history, alumni are being surveyed to solicit opinions on the status of the university in the real world and to understand how well graduates have been prepared for their chosen career.
NSU President Ray Ferrero, Jr. has asked that each alumnus take the time to complete the online survey to help the university understand its strengths and weaknesses. “I would ask that you to participate in this survey so NSU’s senior leadership may better understand your point of view. We fully realize that an engaged and informed alumni will greatly enhance the prestige of NSU in the marketplace,” Ferrero said.
The survey will be conducted by The Gallup Organization’s Institute for Campus Engagement, a uniquely qualified partner who the president retained to gather this information. On or about October 10th, alumni with email addresses on file with NSU will each receive an email directly from Gallup explaining the procedure and providing a code to access the survey site. The survey can be completed online in a manner of minutes, and specific answers will be kept strictly confidential and will not be shared in Gallup’s final summary.
In order to give NSU leadership actionable results, it is imperative that as many alumni as possible participate.
Results from alumni will be correlated with responses from a NSU-wide survey of all NSU students, faculty, administration, staff and even the NSU Board of Trustees. This initiative is all part of an internal campaign appropriately titled “NSU is You” addressing the ever-changing needs of our university.
The NSU is You campaign and targeted surveys is a massive undertaking and the university is counting on the full support of alumni in order to reach its 100% participation goal. |
