Berkeley College Vice President of Administration Edward Imperiosi has announced the appointment of Beth Coyle (Ed.D. 2000), as the Assistant Vice President of Academic Affairs for the Berkeley College New York campuses in Midtown Manhattan and White Plains. Dr. Coyle will also be responsible for the Berkeley College Lower Manhattan Extension Center located at 30 Williams Street.

"Since joining Berkeley College in 2004, Beth Coyle has demonstrated her leadership abilities in two key positions, first as the Director of Business and Auxiliary Services and then as Garret Mountain Campus COO," said Mr. Imperiosi. "In both positions Dr. Coyle has worked collaboratively with Berkeley faculty, staff, and students, as well as members of the community. Berkeley College will continue to benefit from her straightforward, hands-on approach to problem solving and program enhancement."

As Assistant Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dr. Coyle's responsibilities include faculty support, maintenance of academic standards and policies, curriculum implementation, budgetary oversight, participation in the student academic grievance process, and participation in the evaluation of the faculty and department chairs.

Dr. Coyle is an active member of a number of professional organizations including the National Association of College Auxiliary Services (NACAS), the Association of College Administrative Professionals (ACAP), and the National Association of Campus Card Users (NACCU). She holds an Ed.D. from Nova Southeastern University, a Master of Arts in Human Services Administration from Rider University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Trenton State College (now known as The College of New Jersey.)

A leader in business education for more than 75 years, Berkeley College currently maintains an enrollment of 5,500 students, including 500 international students, in its Baccalaureate and Associate degree programs. The College maintains two New York campuses in Midtown Manhattan and White Plains, and four New Jersey campuses located in West Paterson, Paramus, Woodbridge, and the newest location in Newark. In addition, the College operates an Extension Center in Lower Manhattan in the Wall Street area, offers Berkeley CollegeR Online and a Corporate Learning Partnership Program.
