NSU Celebrates the Class of 2007

On Saturday, May 12, 2007, the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences, the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship, and the Fischler School of Education and Human Services will jointly hold 2007 Undergraduate Commencement Exercises.   In addition to recognizing and celebrating the students' successful completion of their academic programs, commencement marks the beginning of the next chapter in their lives.  Commencement celebrates the transition from a student to an alumnus.

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome our new graduates into the NSU Alumni Association.  Graduation is the first of many milestones in your life.  I hope that all of you will share your accomplishments with the Office of Alumni Relations because we take great pride in your success.  Please visit our website to update us on your recent endeavors so we can celebrate the successes of our graduates all year long, not just during commencement time.

I look forward to hearing from you!

 Sincerely,
Kim Stone Signature

Tampa Alumni Chapter
The recent Tampa alumni chapter event was a huge success!  We had approximately 49 alumni, friends and families attend the lunch and eco-tour.  After a delightful lunch and discussion of future chapter events and goals, everyone walked over to the Florida Aquarium where we toured the bay on a 64-foot catamaran.  The weather was absolutely beautiful, and we got to see nature at its best.  The children as well as the adults were excited to see wild dolphins and sea birds.  Everyone commented on how much they enjoyed the event.  Our thanks to Angie Nelson, coordinator of alumni events, for helping the Tampa alumni chapter put on this fun event.  For more information on how to get involved in the Tampa alumni chapter, please contact chapter president Joe Perez at jperez6401@aol.com
