Aztec Hires Matthew E. Brown as Senior Financial Analyst

Jason Shapiro, Managing Director and head of Aztec Group Inc’s Capital Markets division, is pleased to announce Matthew E. Brown has joined the company as Senior Financial Analyst.  As Senior Financial Analyst, Mr. Brown’s responsibilities will include underwriting and executing financing of multifamily, retail, office, hospitality and land transactions.

Mr. Brown comes to Aztec Group, Inc. from Arbor Realty Trust, a New York based REIT, which during his tenure funded two billion of structured transactions across the US.  As an Associate Underwriter, Mr. Brown was responsible for underwriting bridge, mezzanine and preferred equity financing of all asset types.

Upon joining Aztec, Mr. Brown stated, "I look forward to contributing to Aztec’s success in evaluating, underwriting and identifying commercial real estate financing, acquisition and brokerage opportunities in Florida’s dynamic marketplace and beyond."
