Hello,
Please take 60 seconds from your busy day to help us with an exciting project!
The Fischler School of Education and Human Services is seeking leads for interesting stories about our extended family, including faculty members, adjunct faculty members, current students, alumni, and partners. We want to collect these stories and publish them on a new web site to be called Making Waves: Stories of the Fischler School.
We all know that the people connected to the Fischler School of Education and Human Services, including yourself, comprise a huge, diverse, dedicated, and remarkable group. It is that remarkability and diversity that we want to publish for the world to see.
Stories can be of almost any type – inspirational, remarkable, demonstrating tenacity or ingenuity (or both), heart-warming, challenging, or even mystical. They can be about education or not; about career accomplishments or personal triumphs; about service to others; about collective actions devised and accomplished to benefit our culture; or almost any other topic.
Here’s what we are asking you to do: Think of everyone you know who have a connection with the Fischler School (don’t forget yourself!), reflect on stories you know or have heard about these individuals; and evaluate whether those stories would be of interest to others in a one, two, or three paragraph description. Then take just a few minutes to email the story or story idea. If you want to provide detail, that’s welcome; if not, we’ll pursue it further with you from this end.
Please be sure to:
- Include your own contact information and what your relation is to the Fischler School of Education and Human Services (i.e., adjunct faculty, student, alumnus, employee, etc.). so we can send you a thank you gift.
- Feel free to forward this.
- And if you have any doubts or questions, just call us at (800) 9876-3223, Ext. 28651.
Thanks for your time and thoughts! We’re looking forward to some great stories!
