Certified Financial Planner Certification Program Introduction to Financial Planning- March 4 - April 1, 2006

The multi-faceted and sophisticated financial world requires competent practitioners to plan, assess, and evaluate a client's financial future. This CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER Certification Program provides the scope of knowledge and expertise required to deliver full-service financial guidance. The program presents the techniques and information necessary to assist clients in accumulating, conserving, and transferring personal wealth.

Financial professionals are finding increased emphasis on attaining the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER certification. This certification has long been recognized as the most rigorous standard of competence available and it demonstrates a personal commitment to excellence.

Course Description - Introduction to Financial Planning - 5 days

This comprehensive overview of the financial planning process covers client-planner relationships, implementing and monitor the financial plan, assessing of risk and client behavior, asset valuation techniques, and includes the economic and regulatory environment, and the legal and ethical aspects of financial planning. Time value of money concepts and use of a financial calculator will also be covered. The recommended model is an HP 12C. CFP Board topics 1 through 20 are covered.

CFP Board's Education Requirement

Take individual courses or complete all six to satisfy the CFP Board's education requirement. This program is registered with Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. (CFP Board). As a CFP Board-Registered Program, our courses satisfy CFP Board's education requirement, allowing an individual to sit for the CFP. Certification Examination. Individuals can attain CFP. certification after completing all six courses, passing the comprehensive CFP. Certification Examination, demonstrating work experience and completing the ethics requirements.
