MIBA Alumni Chapter Picnic - Sunday, August 28, 2005
Following hurricane Katrina's passage through South Florida, the MIBA Alumni Chapter still managed to hold an event at Westlake Park in Hollywood. Although the planned kayaking expedition had to be cancelled due to fallen trees in the canals, a nice picnic accompanied by fun and games still took place with a dozen participants coming out despite the recent storm. The event served as a much needed day of R&R and everyone had a blast playing soccer, beach volleyball, and horseshoes under the sunny skies. |
