In the fall you should expect a call from your alma mater! The 2005 Fall Phone-a-thon is now underway. While you turn back your clocks the University turns to you for support. As a member of Nova Southeastern University's extended community, you know that the Alumni Annual Fund is your opportunity to make a statement of support to NSU. We ask you to contribute at any level you can. You can choose to direct your gift towards a specific school or center, the new University Center, scholarships, student athlete assistance or any area of NSU's development that is meaningful to you.

We offer a variety of ways by which you may make a contribution, one of which is through one of our student callers during the phone-a-thon portion of the campaign which takes place over several weeks in fall and spring. You can also make a gift on a secure area on-line at http://www.nova.edu/giving/.

Your gift enhances the NSU education experience, and as alumni your gift adds value to your own degree by ensuring that NSU builds upon its excellent reputation for years to come.

November is a time for giving thanks. We thank you for your continued support and as always we look forward to seeing you at future alumni events!

Kim L. Stone
Director of Alumni Relations

P.S. I am always asking our alumni to inform us of a name change or address change and I went and changed my name and did not inform any of you. I got married in September so Kim L. Garafola is now Kim L. Stone. If any of you have exciting news or information to share with the Office of Alumni Relations you can do so by visiting our website at www.nova.edu/alumni, emailing us at alumweb@nova.edu, or calling us at 1-800-541-6682 ext. 2108.

Executive Education Classes- November, December, & February
At Nova Southeastern University, executive education equals practical concepts, strategies, and competencies that can be applied to relevant business challenges and enhanced professional development. Our programs emphasize superior organizational performance by analyzing the root cause of problems, assessing change, and providing unique training instruction and content that impact shifting strategic directions and influence managerial advancement.

Offered through the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship, our programs are conducted using "action learning." Unlike the traditional classroom learning, NSU's executive education programs follow a learning format that allows participants to absorb concepts that can be easily applied as "real-life" solutions. Simulations, activity-based exercises, small-group discussions, and current business issues make-up this effective learning structure. The class schedule is now available on line at http://execed.huizenga.nova.edu/. Classes include fascinating topics from Powerful Presentations to Secrets to Dynamic Franchise Success. For more information, please contact the Executive Education Office at (800) 672-7223, ext. 5137.
