Judith L. Gartner, DMD 2001 is the alumni award winner for the College of Dental Medicine
As the Assistant Professor of the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Department of Prosthodontics is a lecturer and provides preclinical instruction at the graduate and postgraduate levels.
Also serving as the Director of the Cosmetic Dentistry Course at Nova Southeastern University , Dr. Gartner is a virtual reality dental simulator team member and is a lecturer in fixed prosthodontics, dental materials, and supervises the clinic in the prosthodontics post-graduate program. She also maintains a private practice in North Miami Beach .
Dr. Gartner graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Universidad Central de Venezuela, Caracas , and obtained her Masters Degree in oral biology and a certificate in prosthodontics from Harvard University . She completed her DMD as an Advanced Standing Student at NSU.
She is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the American College of Prosthodontists, and the South Florida Dental Association.
Since 1996, she has taught numerous courses and has presented lectures around the world, has authored several publications, and is the recipient of numerous awards and honors including the Tylman Research Grant from the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics.
