Dr. Bruce E. Barkus ( DBA ’04) Named President and CEO of GNC Corporation
Dr. Bruce E. Barkus was recently named President and CEO of GNC Corporation. Dr. Barkus has over 25 years of retail experience and most recently was Executive Vice President of Store Operations at Family Dollar Stores, Inc. Prior to Family Dollar, he served with the Eckerd Corporation as a Pharmacist/Manager in 1978. He was promoted successively to Operations Manager in various regions across the US.
Dr. Barkus holds a Doctorate in Business Administration and MBA from Nova Southeastern University, Huizenga School of Business and a BS in Pharmacy from Long Island University’s College of Pharmacy. |
