for preparing and conducting all elections in Broward County.
A Broward County resident since 1964, Dr. Snipes was recruited
by Blanche Ely and began her career teaching at Blanche Ely High

Broward County and has served on various boards including the American
Red Cross.
She is currently a mayor-appointed member of the Education Advisory
Board of Lauderdale Lakes and is an active member of the state
