There is still time to enjoy the
fun days of summer at the Alumni Dolphins event on August 27th
and the Beach Party on the Isle on August 14th. Our new Coordinator
of Alumni Programs, Angie Nelson, will be representing the Office
of Alumni Relations at both of these exciting events.
Angie has worked in marketing research in Kansas City, MO for
the past year and a half where she developed marketing plans for
businesses based on feedback from their consumers. She will be
able to utilize her analytical skills to assess how to better serve
you, our alumni.
In addition, Angie served as a leadership consultant for Alpha
Sigma Alpha national sorority where she was responsible for chartering
new chapters and continuing to develop others. She worked hands-on
in leadership training with alumni, campus faculty and staff, students
and volunteers.
Angie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from
Central Missouri State University. Her emphasis was on Journalism
with a minor in Marketing.
We are excited she has joined the Alumni Relations team. Come
out to a future alumni event and welcome her to the NSU community.

FSEHS Conference on Global Leadership, Learning, and Research- July 12-16, 2005
Fischler alumni who attended the 2005 FSEHS Conference on Global Leadership, Learning, and Research enjoyed the opportunity to network with one another at the two alumni receptions that were held throughout the week. Special NSU guests in attendance included H. Wells Singleton, Ph.D., Education Provost and University Dean, Anthony J. DeNapoli, Executive Dean for External and International Affairs, Tom Dieters, Executive Director of Development, and Dr. Ronald Galliher, Chair of the Alumni Forum. These exclusive alumni receptions allowed the attendees to reunite with classmates, faculty, and staff. Not only were the receptions full of NSU spirit, they also featured great NSU prizes. The grand prize was a two night stay at any of the Disney Resorts. Needless to say the lucky person who won that prize is looking forward to the next NSU alumni event. |
