About NSU Alumni Chapters

Meet old friends, make new friends, and discover new opportunities!

Our alumni and chapters are the foundation of the NSU Alumni Association. Nova Southeastern University depends on its engaged alumni communities and wonderful alumni leaders to carry on its pioneer spirit.

Alumni chapters provide communication channels and programming to meet the needs of its members. By becoming involved in your local chapter, you will have an opportunity to connect with former classmates, grow your professional network, remain involved with the university, and have fun.

Benefits of an Alumni Chapter

Degree Value

Through your  chapter’s involvement in the community, your degree will actually increase in  value as you will make the University more visible.  People will recognize Nova Southeastern University as an outstanding school that produces exceptional graduates, like you, who involve themselves in their community and remain in contact with their alma mater.

As a participant in your chapter, you will have the opportunity to make new friends, businesscontacts, and personal acquaintances with other accomplished alumni. NSU alumni are pioneers and leaders in all areas of the professional world, continued contact with each other will build friendships and partnerships that will be beneficial to all involved. As a volunteer leader in your chapter, your efforts and dedication will not go unnoticed by those within the chapter.

Chapter leaders from across the country will be invited to attend special events to enrich their alumni volunteer efforts and network with other alumni leaders.

By organizing a local alumni chapter, you can enable the alumni of your area to remain connected to one another and facilitate the bonds that all NSU alumni share. Bringing together alumni from different generations and varied fields, you will help to create that sense of community. Extended to other chapters around the country and through the University, we can create a global community that can enhance the lives of all alumni and ensure that NSU will continue to grow and evolve, remaining one of the nation’s largest not-for-profit Universities.

The chapter will provide a vehicle for two-way communication between the University and alumni. In this way, it will be easier for the University to share its developmental needs as well as academic progress, while allowing alumni to have a forum in which to express their concerns, approval or lend comments to the University.
