About the Conference
This marks the first-ever conference at Nova Southeastern University and the national Center for Bioterrorism and All-Hazards Preparedness (CBAP), dealing with issues on campus safety and security in higher education. Renowned experts will be presenting topics on strategies and best practices, including Dr. Ronald Stephens of the National School Safety Center and NSU’s own international expert, Dr. Scott Poland. This conference will be an important opportunity for college and university staff, faculty, administration, and security personnel, to reflect on safety and security measures and to make improvements wherever applicable. Ultimately, those who attend will be provided exceptional insight into current knowledge and practice on campus safety and security as well as steps ahead.

Driving Directions and Parking
This conference will take place at Nova Southeastern University’s Main Campus in Fort Lauderdale, Florida; click here for a map and driving directions. On both April 25 and 26, all conference events will be held at the Steele Auditorium within the Health Professions Division (HPD), indicated at 19F on the NSU Campus Map. Parking is available in the lot and garage adjacent to HPD.
