Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine (NSU-COM) and Broward Community College (BCC) have established a collaborative partnership in the development of this statewide continuing education initiative in all-hazards preparedness. Both academic institutions have an extensive history of providing continuing education training to the health care and law enforcement workforce in South Florida. NSU is the 6th largest private non-profit university in the U.S. BCC is the 5th largest community college in the nation.

This collaborative partnership has enabled both institutions to reach out to the community and state to establish other working relationships, which include the following at this time:
