Utilizing the expertise of the faculty associated with the CBAP and that of its partners, the center provides the following programs and services:

  • Training in all-hazards preparedness and response appropriate for health care professionals and health care workers, including students
  • Educational materials
  • Presentations and speaker program development
  • Clinical and emergency management expertise and consultation
  • COSCE (Casualty Objective Structured Clinical Examination) development and implementation

TrainingIn collaboration with our partners, the center offers a series of courses on emergency preparedness topics for health care professionals who have a medical and/or scientific background as well as for health care workers whose training may be non-scientific (e.g., health care administrators, support service, security staff).

"Course 1 - Bioterrorism and All-Hazards Preparedness: Basic Awareness" is free and available live, online, or by CD. Register now to take the online version of this course, or contact us if you would like this course via CD or live presentation.

"Course 2 - Bioterrorism and All-Hazards Preparedness: Intermediate Awareness" is free and available live and online. Register now to take the online version of this course, or contact us if you would like this course via live presentation.

Course 3 - Bioterrorism and All-Hazards Preparedness: Advanced Level" is free and available by live presentation only. Other courses are currently in production and will be available in the near future, including a Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) Core Competency Course and a Spanish version of "Course 1 - Bioterrorism and All-Hazards Preparedness: Basic Awareness".
