Dual Admission - Pharmacy
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmacy (Ph.D.)
The doctor of pharmacy (Pharm.D.) is either a six-year combined, seven-year combined, or eight-year combined program.
The six-year combined program allows students to complete two years of a prescribed course of study in the undergraduate biology major. Students are awarded a bachelor of science degree after successful completion of the second year of education in the College of Pharmacy.
The seven-year combined program allows students to complete three years of a prescribed course of study in the undergraduate biology major. Students are awarded a bachelor of science degree after successful completion of the first year of education in the College of Pharmacy.
The eight-year combined program requires students to complete four years of a prescribed course of study in the undergraduate chemistry with minimum of 120 credits. Students will receive the Pharm.D. degree after completion of four years of study in the Pharm.D. program.
The doctor of philosophy in pharmacy (Ph.D.) is an eight-year combined program that requires students to complete four years of a prescribed course of study in the undergraduate chemistry with minimum of 120 credits.
Transfer students are not eligible to apply to the Health Professions dual admission programs
**Functions, Probability and Statistics, Trigonometry, Analytical Geometry may be substituted for Pre Calculus
*Living Environment, Anatomy and Physiology may be substituted for Biology
