Dual Admission - Law

Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and Juris Doctor (J.D.)

NSU offers a dual admission program to students who are interested in pursuing a challenging career in the legal profession or related fields in government or business. This unique program leads to the bachelor's and juris doctor (J.D.) degrees. After students successfully complete the undergraduate degree program requirements, they will then enter the graduate degree program. Eligible students may also qualify to complete an accelerated "3+3" program by meeting rigorous entry criteria.

The law school dual admission program is available to students in all undergraduate majors. Students may want to consider the legal studies major, designed to assist students in developing analytical and communication skills and an understanding of economic, political, and social contexts within which legal issues arise. The legal studies major is excellent preparation for the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) and for law school..
