Dual Admission - Dental Medicine

Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.)

The doctor of dental medicine is a seven-year or eight-year program. The seven-year program is a combined program; students will follow a three-year prescribed course of study in the undergraduate biology major. Students will be awarded a bachelor of science degree after successfully completing the first year of professional education at the College of Dental Medicine.

In the eight-year program, students complete the four-year undergraduate biology major and are awarded a bachelor of science degree before starting the dental medicine program. Students in both programs will receive the D.M.D. degree after four years of training at the College of Dental Medicine.
