Dual Admission - Business

Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and Master's Degrees in Business

A dual admission program in business is available to qualified freshman and transfer students, allowing them to complete combined B.S. and master's degrees in a 5 or 5 ½ year period. Within the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship, students may complete a variety of master's degrees.

After successfully completing a four year undergraduate degree at Nova Southeastern University (see requirements chart below), students are eligible to immediately start their master's program. An alumni tuition discount is available to those students who enter the master's program directly after receiving their undergraduate degree.

A master's degree can be achieved within one year utilizing the weekday offering of the MBA. MBA day students can complete their degree with a choice of the Value Integration Workshop or an Internship. The Workshop serves as a capstone to provide students with the leadership skills needed to compete successfully in the job market. The Internship allows the student to learn through the application of classroom theory in the workplace. Organizations sponsoring students have included Blockbuster Video, The Florida Marlins, Holy Cross Hospital, the Miami Herald, Smith-Barney Shearson, and the World Trade Center of Miami.

Working professionals can complete the master's degree in 18 months. Students can enjoy the flexibility of either online classes or weekend classes. Master's courses are taught by faculty with real world experience and doctoral degrees in their field of study.
