What better venue to serve as a coming out party than at the 2002 Homecoming Carnival? Dr.'s Waites, Feingold,
Dixon, and Barker served as targets in a pie throwing event (Bob was traveling, Dr. Hammack was scheduled for last and by that time the crowd had disappeared, those crafty probabilists). In addition,
Dean Goonen, Dr. Ferris, and Dr. Gordon were on hand to cheer the crowd on.
The crowd was ready.
The pies were ready.
The victims were ready.
But there were rules to
follow.
Before victory was to be had.
But the courageous
professors had
friends to offer
moral support
and a good rinse
when through.
The throwers eyed
their weapons,
and they eyed their victims,
they knew what
must be done.
Some shot from far,
some shot from near,
and some chose no
distance at all.
The throws came fast,
the throwers were excited,
they needed more pies.
But pies need whip cream,
Please Sonia,
get us some cream!
Here is some money,
for there are crowds
eager to throw,
and professors to be hit,
insane though they may be,
