Masters of Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals Course
The course has a rich history with early beginnings right here in Broward County. Fifteen years ago, a National PEP Task Force was formed as funded by the California EMS Authority and Florida Emergency Medicine Foundation. PEPP is an exciting curriculum designed specifically to teach prehospital professionals how to better assess and manage ill or injured children.
The Broward County EMSCouncil Grant Review Board evaluated 28 proposals submitted for 2008/2009 funding. The reviewers ranked the PEPP Course grant application number one! Broward County’s 22 EMS Providers serve a population of 1.6million residents.
